APPLICATION NOTE SM-EZ-101 A good source of general information for newcomers to surface mount technology. Provides basic concepts and ideas behind breadboarding, component sizes, and board footprint modifications and basic hand soldering. A good resource for students and educators interested in Surface Mount technology.
APPLICATION NOTE AN-101 Build Surface Mount based bussed component networks and arrays with series 6900 Surfboards. From simple resistor networks to mixed arrays using capacitors, leds, diodes and more, you can combine components that need common connections for both prototype and production circuit applications.
APPLICATION NOTE AN102 Use series 6100 Surfboards with both two and three terminal surface mount components. Great when breadboards require circuit elements using transistors or other 3 pin devices mixed with a range of 2 lead components such as resistors, capacitors and more. Universal lands accept a range of device sizes.
Also See SURFNOTES for ideas and instructions for practical useful circuits you can build with Surface Mount components and the HOW-TO page for hints, techniques, and methods for using Surfboards in your surface mount prototypes.
